Bay-Lynx Atlas Stone Spreader built for multi-material jobsite work
The Bay-Lynx Atlas Stone Spreader has been designed for contractors who need one machine to handle a wide range of material placement tasks without sacrificing accuracy, output or control.
Built for roadwork, infrastructure, utilities, landscaping and general contracting applications, the Atlas is more than a stone spreader. It is a versatile material placement system capable of handling clear stone, crushed aggregate, sand, topsoil, screenings, mulch and mixed materials. It can also be configured for hot asphalt work, using a dual-layer body wall, high-temperature belt and heat-resistant rubber skirting.

At the heart of the machine is a 32-inch belt-over-chain conveyor setup, designed to provide steady material flow across different aggregate sizes and weights. Whether working with ¾-inch crushed stone, pea gravel or granular A, the Atlas is built to place material evenly and reduce the need for manual correction.
Durability is another key part of the design. The Atlas features an engineered Hardox body, using Hardox 450 steel for improved strength and wear resistance compared with standard mild steel. The lighter, stronger construction helps increase capacity while supporting fuel economy and long-term total cost of ownership. Bay-Lynx is also part of the Hardox In My Body programme, working with SSAB on high-performance equipment body design.
One of the Atlas’s standout features is its patented Parallel Lift throw conveyor system. This maintains a low centre of gravity during operation, helping improve machine stability, operator visibility and jobsite safety. The system also allows the Atlas to work as both a stone spreader and a live-bottom dump from the same machine.

A dual-output rear gate is fitted as standard. The full rear door can be raised for fast offloading, while a smaller adjustable gate allows operators to meter material more precisely when controlled placement is required.
Remote-control operation further improves productivity, giving operators the ability to manage material flow and conveyor positioning from a safe distance. This allows real-time adjustments as site conditions or material behaviour changes.

With 22 cubic yards of capacity and a wide range of custom options, the Atlas is aimed at contractors looking to improve equipment utilisation and reduce fleet complexity. By handling multiple materials and applications, one machine can take on more work, cut transport requirements, reduce reliance on extra equipment and help minimise material waste.
For contractors working across road construction, trench reinstatement, aggregate placement and site preparation, the Bay-Lynx Atlas Stone Spreader offers a practical way to place materials more accurately, improve productivity and get more value from a single piece of equipment.
