We have been on our travels again to bring you some great stories and videos for issue 16. For two weeks in August, we travelled to the West coast of the USA, completing eleven visits throughout the states of California, Oregon and Washington. This edition will feature the first of these stories, focusing on the Dutra Group’s San Rafael quarry which is located on the other side of the bay from San Francisco.
AE attended Sennebogen’s WE Show 71 event in Germany to bring you the story on the massive in-house event attended by 2500 dealers, customers and suppliers from all over the globe. Headquartered in Straubing in the South of Germany, Sennebogen are a World leading company in the field of material handling equipment, including cranes, telehandlers and demolition machinery.
Ritchie Bros Moerdijk facility in the Netherlands held their first auction in almost 3 years over 3 days, starting on October 10th. The auction featured 4000 lots including, 460 excavators, 130-wheel loaders, 680 boom and scissor lifts and 80 transport trucks and much more. We were onsite to bring you the story and footage from the massive event.
On the cover, we have LiuGong’s 21-tonne 856HE battery powered wheel loader. The first machine in the UK has been snapped up by one of the UK’s leading suppliers of aggregates, building materials and ready mixed concrete, Aggregate Industries. The company has deployed the loader at their huge concrete batching plant at Bow in East London where it works alongside one of the firm’s fully electric mixer trucks.
