The Secret Life Of Quarries is a new Caterpillar six-part mini-series. Shot entirely at night, the series reveals the hidden side of quarrying and unearths the hidden knowledge needed to turn buried stone into the building blocks of our modern world. Each episode aims to reveal the secrets underlying every successful quarrying operation, giving experts, enthusiasts and everyone in between, a unique take on the quarrying process.

Episode 2 is now available: The Secrets of Extraction where operators must make crucial decisions on the right equipment, operators and techniques at hand to efficiently pull the exposed stones out of the ground into a crusher.
