RA30 and RA40 set to impress on home turf at ScotPlant
Scottish articulated hauler manufacturer Rokbak will be joining its UK dealer Molson Group at ScotPlant – Scotland’s biggest construction equipment trade event.
Rokbak is getting ready to join its UK dealer Molson Group at ScotPlant and showcase its RA30 and RA40articulated haulers on April 22nd and 23rd. The RA30 will be on display at the Molson Group stand, Avenue E/8, while the RA40 will be close by at Avenue D/18. Visitors will be able to get up close to both machines and speak to the Rokbak and Molson Group experts, who will be located at the Molson Group stand.
“Our haulers are shipped globally but they are designed and built in Scotland, so we’re excited to be exhibiting once again at the country’s leading construction show,” says Paul Douglas, Managing Director of Rokbak. “Scotland is known for the quality of its engineering and the RA30 and RA40 are built on decades of engineering experience. We are looking forward to meeting existing and future customers alongside our trusted partner the Molson Group. The Molson Group is a very experienced dealer and I’m proud to have them by our side.”
A customer-focused approach
The Molson Group is the UK’s largest independent new and used equipment dealer. It became a Rokbak dealer towards the end of 2019. “We will have our biggest ever stand at this year’s ScotPlant,” says Mark Proudfoot, Director for Molson Scotland. “We’re excited for our customers to see the Rokbak articulated haulers as part of our 360-degree product offering. The Molson Group is committed to delivering the best products to our customers as well as fantastic service and support.”
A rock-solid investment
Rokbak articulated haulers are known for being robust, reliable, easy to operate and easy to maintain. The 38 tonne (41.9 US ton) RA40 is a heavy-duty articulated hauler that makes light work of large-scale quarry, mine and construction jobs. Offering high capacity and performance, the RA40 delivers cost-effective productivity in the toughest conditions. The high-performance engine balances controlled power with maximum fuel efficiency. The modulating transmission retarder is coupled with an efficient exhaust brake and fully enclosed oil-cooled multidisc brakes for total control – even on steep inclines.
The 28 tonne (30.9 US ton) RA30 articulated hauler is made for the toughest jobs and roughest sites, from quarries and infrastructure developments to commercial construction projects. With true independent front suspension as standard, it offers more control and comfort for operators. The RA30’s new transmission and high-performance engine improve fuel efficiency, operator comfort and deliver power when you need it.
For the European market, both machines feature the latest EU Stage V emissions-compliant engine, boasting up to a 7% improvement in fuel efficiency compared to older EU Stage IV engines.
ScotPlant is expected to attract thousands of visitors and around 200 global and local exhibitors. It is being held at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh.
