Powerscreen of Washington Takes on Fuchs

Material processing equipment supplier Powerscreen of Washington is to extend its range with the introduction of material handling machines from specialist manufacturer Fuchs a Terex brand.

From their base in Kent in the heart of Washington state, the addition of Fuchs will complement its existing industry-leading range of crushers, screens and conveyors with the addition of Fuchs material handling machines specially suited for waste and recycling work.

With machines at the cutting edge of the materials handling sector Fuchs offers diesel and electrically powered equipment perfect for the full range of recycling applications from smaller recycling sites right up to heavy dockside work.

The addition of Fuchs material handlers will help Powerscreen of Washington in its bid to offer complete equipment solutions to companies in the waste, recycling, scrap and timber handling sectors, complementing its existing range of industry-leading equipment from Terex Ecotec and Powerscreen.

Taking on the Fuchs machines is the latest development for Powerscreen of Washington since it was snapped up by UK-based equipment dealer Molson Group last year.

Following the acquisition the firm has now successfully installed the market-leading dealerCMD a digital technology software developed to digitize equipment dealership businesses.

Jeff Ford, Vice President of Powerscreen of Washington welcomed the move.

He said: “The Fuchs range of material handlers will complement Powerscreen of Washington’s existing portfolio of equipment for its customers. As a business, we are known for offering our customers the right solution and being there to support them throughout the ownership of their equipment, something we look forward to delivering with the new Fuchs range.”

Rob Jordan, Sales Director, Fuchs North America said: “We are delighted to appoint a dealership that is clearly on an upward trajectory to represent us in this area. With a proven track record of success with other Terex products, we are sure they can expand on with the inclusion of the fantastic Fuchs product range.”
