The new Washington branch represents a significant addition to P.V. Dobson’s infrastructure. Occupying a substantial area, it boasts a comprehensive setup including workshop spaces, parts and showroom areas, a consumables shop, and a considerable yard space dedicated to the preparation of machinery. At the helm of this new venture is Matthew Crawford as Branch Manager, a seasoned professional from the construction machinery industry, who will manage both the branch and its sales operations. This expansion not only aims to cater to the existing clientele, many of whom are third-generation customers, but also to attract new customers in need of quality plant.

From our Sales team to our Aftermarket team, everyone plays an equal part in making sure that the most integral part of our business is looked after properly – the customer.” This ethos is the driving force behind the company’s decision to establish a presence in the North East, ensuring that customers in the area have direct access to P.V. Dobson’s unparalleled service standards and its range of new and used plant and agricultural machinery.

The Washington branch will focus on offering a full range of Kubota construction machinery, reflecting P.V. Dobson’s long-standing partnership with Kubota since 1992. The choice of Kubota is attributed to its dominance in the mini excavators market segment and its reputation for reliability, credibility, and outstanding residual values. “Three words to describe Kubota are credible, reliable, and residual. They have been number one in Europe for the past 25 years and are renowned for their fantastic reliability and residual values,” Andrew Dobson remarks.
