Finning UK & Ireland Celebrates Two-Year Anniversary of Authorised Sales and Service Centres Network

Finning UK & Ireland, the leading global dealer of Cat® machinery, parts, and services, recently commemorated the two-year milestone of its Authorised Sales and Service Centres (ASSC) network with a grand event at Caterpillar’s Desford site. The three-day celebration brought together Finning’s regional partners, showcasing the strength and growth of the network.

A Gathering of Industry Leaders

The event saw participation from prominent regional partners including Cooks Midlands, Bennie Plant, LCF Engineering, Norris Plant, Howard Plant, Oakley Machinery, Frank Sutton, and RC Dalgliesh. Additionally, the latest addition to the network, Rundle & Co Agri, marked its presence. Based in Launceston, Rundle & Co Agri is set to cater to the Cat compact machinery needs in South West England.

Wayne Rundle of Rundle & Co Agri shared his enthusiasm, saying, “Joining the ASSC network has been a remarkable experience. The support from Finning has been exceptional, especially during our recent open day. We are excited to offer our customers a broader range of Cat machines, ensuring top-quality machinery is accessible in our region. This event allowed us to exchange insights and expertise with fellow dealers, setting a promising future for our partnership.”

Strategic Expansion to Meet Growing Demand

The expansion of the ASSC network reflects the rising demand for Cat compact machines across various sectors. Each dealer is strategically positioned to provide localized service, ensuring customers across the UK receive prompt and expert support.

Nadine Craddock, ASSC Dealer Manager at Finning UK & Ireland, highlighted the importance of this regional presence: “Customers greatly value the ability to work with experienced dealers in their locality. The ASSCs deliver fast turnarounds on machinery, which is a significant benefit for our customers.”

A Collaborative Event for Future Success

The conference, themed “Winning Together in 2024,” featured a range of activities, product support sessions, and focus groups aimed at identifying successful strategies and areas for additional support. Finning team members presented on various aftermarket topics including machine connectivity, oil sampling, warranty, and operational planning.

Reflecting on the event, Nadine added, “Celebrating the two-year anniversary of our dealer network was an excellent opportunity to engage with our dealers. The feedback and engagement were highly positive, and we are excited to continue our collaboration to better serve our customer base.”
