CheckProof Auto-Translate launches at Steinexpo 2026
CheckProof Auto-Translate has been released as a new platform add-on following several months of beta testing, providing real-time translation for inspections and safety communication on multilingual industrial sites.
The feature is now widely available across the CheckProof platform and will be demonstrated at Steinexpo 2026, taking place from 2–5 September in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden, Germany.
CheckProof can be found at booth P140, where visitors will be able to see Auto-Translate operating within live inspection and reporting workflows.
Real-time translation inside CheckProof
Auto-Translate is designed to prevent important checklist information and safety communication from being misunderstood because of language differences.
Inspection questions, answer options, instructions and incident or deviation comments can be translated automatically in real time.
This allows supervisors to prepare checks and instructions in their preferred language while frontline workers read and respond using theirs.
Translation takes place inside the CheckProof mobile app and platform, removing the need for workers to copy information into an external translation service or interrupt an inspection.
“Language shouldn’t stand between a worker and a clear instruction,” says Tom O’Boyle, Chief Product Officer at CheckProof.
“Auto-Translate means every person on site, regardless of what language they speak, gets the same clarity and can act on it straight away.”
How CheckProof Auto-Translate works
Once the add-on has been enabled, customers can select a preferred language for each employee.
Frontline workers can activate translation through the mobile app menu or select the language icon while completing an inspection or viewing a deviation.
Checklist content, including instructions and multiple-choice answers, is then displayed in the worker’s chosen language. Their responses can also be understood by supervisors working in a different language.
Keeping the translation within the existing workflow means inspections can continue without users switching applications or manually translating individual questions and comments.
Supporting safety on multilingual industrial sites
Quarries, mines, recycling facilities and construction-materials operations often employ people from several different countries and language backgrounds.
Digital translation does not replace appropriate training or site procedures, but it can make operational instructions and safety information easier for workers to understand.
CheckProof introduced Auto-Translate for beta testing earlier in 2026. The company says feedback from the trial helped prepare the feature for its wider release.
The add-on forms part of CheckProof’s operations-management platform, which covers maintenance, health and safety, quality, production, inspections and incident management.
Live demonstrations at Steinexpo
CheckProof is demonstrating Auto-Translate throughout Steinexpo alongside its AI Checklist Builder and Safety Alerts features.
Peter Erbel, CheckProof’s Country Manager for Germany, is leading the company’s presence at booth P140.
The demonstration will show how translated content appears within inspections and how supervisors and frontline employees can work through the same process using different languages.
