I came across and photographed this Ford H47CK excavator in a field in Northern Ireland around a year ago. Although badged as a Ford this machine was really a French manufactured Richier machine in disguise. The excavators, due to their size, have to be shipped in as separate parts and later assembled at the site. Everything had to be assembled in a short amount of time. And by working together as a team, the 2 Hitachi EX1900-6 machines were assembled and prepared for operation in minimal amount of time.
