This is a Mark V Priestman Cub in cable excavator configuration originally owned by contractor W. A Patterson of Antrim, Northern Ireland. This classic Cub is now in the care of the Vintage excavator trust at Threlkeld quarry in Cumbria, UK. The machine is powered by a 3 cylinder lister engine.

Unfortunately a scraper box ended up on it’s side in the classic plant enclosure at the great Dorset steam fair. A vintage Caterpillar D4D was able to right it after quite a bit of preparation.
